After cholecystectomy (this is the name of this surgical operation), a person is no longer able to accumulate bile, and there must be a lot of it in the biliary tract, otherwise it will stagnate.

After surgery, it's important to strictly follow your doctor's instructions and follow a certain diet. The basis of the diet menu is only dietary products. Disobeying nutrition rules can cost your life. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Reduce salt intake.
  2. Limit fatty foods (pork fat, brisket, roast lamb). Such food is difficult to process in the stomach and puts a lot of stress on the liver.
  3. Drink lots of water and fruit juices. Herbal teas, fresh fruit and vegetable juices are useful: cabbage, carrot-apple, pumpkin, carrot-celery. Carbonated water, beetroot and diluted plant juices are contraindicated.
